THE GREAT COMMISSION

'To go into all the world', means, to relay; to relay means a live relay of the performance, or to broadcast a transmission, its a showing. Its a doing word, a verb, relaying means, sending messages, passing it on, handing it on, transferring it, repeating it. We are to communicate, send, transmit, disseminate, spread, circulate. It does not mean go inwards, that's the reason why the early church in the Middle East, and North Africa was ravaged by Islam. They became comfortable, instead of being the Church Militant.

Oswald Chambers was an expert on the subject.

'They hang around doing nothing when there's work to do'.

 The Great Commission

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (ESV).

His words and departure, along with the coming of the Holy Spirit shortly after, sparked a new era in world history where Christ’s followers would spread His glorious gospel to the ends of the earth.
